If you have an interest in calligraphy, letter forms, ink and brush techniques or Middle Eastern art, come along to this intimate talk by a true gentleman artist on Sunday 25 June, 2pm.
Talented calligrapher Sayed Ali Karam Jawhary will talk about the art of middle eastern calligraphy and give a live demonstration.
Ali is an outstanding calligrapher who has been a practising artist and teacher for over 20 years. He will be discussing the themes and techniques he explores in his beautiful work and using ink.
Originally from Afghanistan, Ali is looking forward to showing New Zealanders the beautiful art of calligraphy.
